The Fabric of Memory

Inventing a language of artefacts and rituals for meaningful storage of materialized memories

Interpreting the nature of real human memory, fabric becomes a living tissue interacting with materialized experiences — exploring the potential of a new typology for non-traditional, tactile and intimate storage for memories.

The fabric reshapes, grows organically and disappears by forgetting, in symbiosis with the embedded memories. With each new experience, the memory system seeks new balance and evolves in meaning through life-long interaction with its keeper.

In a metaphoric visual language of materials — the adjustable DIY system highlights memory objects as a means of expressing identity, while affirming truly personal independent creation.
